John enjoyed a splendid weekend at the Dimensions 11 convention. Entertaining many fans of the classic series, one young lady got a special photo taken with our lovely Sgt. Benton astride K.9. while being galantly protected by one of the few good Daleks in the known universe!
We have some wonderful news. Apart from being Sgt.Benton in Doctor Who, John has fulfilled another dream...to sing! John will be releasing his first CD entitled "The Ballads of Sgt. Benton" in late November 2011!
"Must have been a nasty accident." as Sarah Jane once exclaimed meeting a group of mummies while on an adventure with the Doctor. But it was serenedipity this past August, 2011 for John Levene!
John Levene, Sgt. Benton of Dr. Who, returns to the village of Aldbourne, in Wiltshire where the classic serial "The Daemons" was shot in 1971. John takes the viewer inside "St Michael's" church, the village of Aldbourne's center piece.

Digging through John's vault of appearances throughout his convention history, we stumbled upon a marvelous duet of "Blowing in the Wind" shared with Robin Curtis, Star Trek's "Lt. Saavik".
Bob Mitsch has supplied us with another fabulous Dr. Who skit presented at this past February's Gallifrey Convention in Los Angeles. Bravo to all those involved!
These images of the English countryside were composed by the consummate eye of my childhood friend, Len Watts. We were in school together from the age of 5. He now resides in Poole, Dorset. Please enjoy these images taken over the Christmas Holidays.
